PRIDE

Psychology Research Initiative in Diversity Enhancement (PRIDE)

PRIDE is an 7-week intensive research experience for Syracuse University undergraduates from underrepresented groups. Acceptance into the program is highly competitive. The program is internally funded by the Department of Psychology, read more here. Students complete a research project in a participating Psychology lab and present their work to the university community at a conference at the end of the 7 weeks. They also attend a weekly professional development series. PRIDE students in my lab conduct an experiment from start to finish, review the literature, analyze the data, and write a publication quality paper.
